Our intention in joining in is to participate in a flash mob annotation, exploring its capabilities, affordances, and challenges as a pedagogical tool. We will be looking at the article through the lens of higher education and where participatory activities and recognizing existing knowledge and experience are a part of the learning experience.
I’ve suggested focusing on the introduction section and the section titled The Participatory Turn: new affordances of digital technologies. This is a suggestion and certainly does not limit delving into other sections.
